Violinist and vocalist Luisa Brown grew up in a musical family in Edinburgh, Scotland. She played the fiddle from the age of 5 and has spent many years travelling around the world, learning music from diverse cultures in Europe, China, North America, and South America.
Luisa Brown plays in party band Blue Giant Orkestar and gigs abroad with Pan-Celtic band Holiday Club.
She has worked as Artistic Leader at Ethno music courses both in Chile and Germany in 2015 and 2016, and currently enjoys being back in the thriving session scene of her home city.
Luisa’s Celtic music band, Holiday Club, was one of the winners of the Runas 2022 traditional music contest.
