The WOMEX 2022 inaugural concert is called Lisbon Sounds – The New Traditional Lisbon. The predominant world music showcase event will present four music projects that are reinventing Portuguese musical traditions: fado singer Beatriz Felicio; Club Makumba; world fusion act Expresso Transatlântico; and fado-jazz pianist Júlio Resende.
