Expresso Transatlântico features three musicians from Lisbon who intertwine the musical traditions of Portugal, Africa, and Brazil. Band members include Sebastião Varela on guitar and keyboards; Rafael Matos on drums and percussion; and Gaspar Varela on Portuguese guitar.
The band’s debut album was “Primeira Rodada” (2021).
