Club Makumba is a musical project developed by guitarist Tó Trips (Dead Combo, Lulu Blind, among others) and the drummer and percussionist João Doce (Wraygunn). Additional members include saxophonist Gonçalo Prazeres and the bassist Gonçalo Leonardo.
The band performs spirited, spontaneous, experimental and tribal world music. It opens the window to a journey through the sounds of the Mediterranean and imagined Africa; music without prejudice and without borders.
