Composer, improviser, pianist, vibraphonist, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Brittany Anjou was born on May 15, 1984, in Minot, North Dakota, USA.
Anjou has recorded and led many performances on Ghanaian xylophone as a side person and with her groups, Ghanaian Gyil Gala and BEWAA.
In 2019, she released her original debut jazz trio album, Enamiĝo Reciprokataj, to critical acclaim. She leads the experimental feminist punk band Bi TYRANT.
In 2021, Anjou released Nong Voru – Fake Love, an album with Ghanaian xylophone maestro Alfred Kpebesaane.
