Turkish clarinet Virtuoso Ramazan Sesler

Turkish clarinet maestro Ramazan Sesler grew up in a family of acclaimed Gypsy (Roma) musicians. He is the son of Selim Sesler, one of the greatest clarinet players in recent Turkish history, who was known as the “Coltrane of Clarinet”. Ramazan is the keeper of a unique style and a family lineage.

Ramazan Sesler performs a mix of music rooted in Balkan Roma (Gypsy) and Turkish traditions.

In 2021, Sesler presented the show “Babadan Oğula Bir Gırnata Efsanesi/From Father To Son, A Clarinet Legend”.
