Colombian band Gaiteros de Pueblo Santo released Historias Cantadas on Yawaro Records in 2020. The group from Barranquilla led by Marlon Peroza specializes in traditional ancestral flute from Colombia’s Caribbean region that brings together indigenous flute and Spanish song traditions.
Gaiteros de Pueblo Santo was formed 12 years ago and has won several times in the category of best professional group in festivals such as Ovejas and San Jacinto, the two most important festivals for ancestral flute music.
