Artist Profiles: Anders Hall

Swedish fiddler Anders Hall (viola, fiddle, octave fiddle, Hardanger fiddle) was born in Arbrå, Hälsingland (Sweden). He is a member of Norwegian/Swedish ensemble SVER and The Nordic Fiddlers Bloc.

Hall has a deep knowledge of both Norwegian and Swedish musical traditions, having studied in both countries. He studied Hardanger fiddle at the Ole Bull Academy in Voss, Norway from 2006-2008.

He also collaborates with Norwegian folk singer and fiddler Sigrid Moldestad.
