Mista Savona Presents Havana Meets Kingston Part 2 will be released in 2021. This is the follow up to the acclaimed 2017 debut album. A new single and video for the song “Beat Con Flow” is now available, featuring rising Cuban artist Cimafunk.
Havana Meets Kingston Part 2 includes a remarkable roster of talented Jamaican and Cuban artists, including Jamaican stars Clinton Fearon, Randy Valentine, Prince Alla and Micah Shemaiah; Cuban masters Barbarito Torres, Changuito, Brenda Navarrete, Solis, Beatriz Marquez, and many more.
“Beat Con Flow was recorded at Egrem Studios in Havana by a superb ensemble that included famed Jamaican drummer Sly Dunbar, the late Jamaican guitarist Winston “Bopee” Bowen (known for his work with Dennis Brown), as well as Cuban basst maestro Gaston Joya and trumpeter Julito Padrón. Savona plays piano and Hammond organ and DJ Wasabi is on the turntables.
