Strings for Peace is a fabulous set of four ragas composed by Indian sarod maestro Amjad Ali Khan for American classical guitarist Sharon Isbin. The four beautiful, evocative pieces showcase the marvelous interplay between the sarod and the classical guitar.
The album features Sharon Isbin on classical guitar; Amjad Ali Khan on sarod; Amjad’s two sons, Ayaan Ali Bangash and Amaan Ali Bangash on sarod as well; along with tabla player Amit Kavthekar.
