Honduran-Spanish jazz singer, songwriter and composer Eva Cortés has released a splendid new album titled Todas las Voces (all Voices). The album incorporates a wide range of musical influences: Latin American folk music, Spanish flamenco and contemporary Latin Jazz.

Eva Cortés was born in Tegucigalpa (Honduras) and moved to Spain at a young age. She grew up in Seville and currently lives between Madrid and New York City.

Eva Cortés has a beautiful, warm vocal style. She sings comfortably in Spanish and English as well, providing admirable lead vocals and finely-crafted harmonies.

“Todas las Voces” features an impressive roster of high profile American, Cuban and Venezuelan musicians with masterful performances by Cuban pianist Elio Villafranca, trombonist and producer Doug Beavers and an outstanding rhythm section.

The lineup includes Eva Cortés  on vocals; Elio Villafranca on piano; Roman Filiu on saxophone; Christian McBride on bass; Luques Curtis on bass; Doug Beavers on trombone; Luisito Quintero on percussion; and Eric Harland on drums.
