Artist Profiles: Ibrahim Fall Diagne Tchokoo

Ibrahim Fall Diagne Tchokoo is a master jembe player from Senegal and has toured all over the world with the National Ballet of Senegal.

His instruments are the m’balak and the talking drum. He is an expert in playing sabar style. Friends call him “Ibou” for short. He comes from a long history of traditional jeli musicians.
