Frank Solivan & Dirty Kitchen received the IBMA Instrumental Group of the Year award at the 2016 International Bluegrass Music Awards. The group first won this category in 2014.
Solivan’s recent solo album Family, Friends & Heroes (Compass Records) was released on March 4. A tribute to Solivan’s musical heroes, the project includes Dirty Kitchen members, some of Solivan’s own family, and special guests John Cowan, Jerry Douglas and Sam Bush, Jim Hurst, Del McCoury, and more.
