The SGAE Foundation has put together a new edition of its cutting-edge ‘Flamencos y mestizos’ series. The concert and dance series will take place from June 16 to 19 June, starying at 21:00 (9:00 pm) at Sala Berlanga in Madrid.
The series will feature performances by Sandra Carrasco and Alba Heredia; the guitar duo of Miguel Angel Cortes and Jose Maria Gallardo, accompanied by dancer Carolina Pozuelo; singer Vicky Romero with violinist Lamaya Flamenca; and the vocals of Ana Pilar Corral and Mercedes Rios.
The series will begin on June 16 with the vocals of Sandra Carrasco, who will present her new album, Oceano, accompanied by piano. Dancer Alba Heredia, will present her first show as a solo performer.
Guitarrists Miguel Angel Cortes and Jose Maria Gallardo will present their show ‘Lo Cortés no quita lo Gallardo’ on June 17 along with dancer Carolina Pozuelo.
On June 18th, Vicky Romero will showcase her flamenco roots along with Japanese violinist Lamaya Flamenca.
The series will close on June 19 with a set of copla-style (couplets) songs by Ana Pilar Corral and Mercedes Ríos titled Princesas de la Copla.
