Departure Lounge: Lounge (Petrol Records, 2007)
This a lounge compilation on the Petrol Records label called Departure Lounge, which also includes the collections called Grooves, Rhythms and Love. This compilation features 12 tracks, and is an excellent morning or late evening listen.
We recommend the pieces “Tomorrow” by Malena Perez and “I Am” by Jeff Bennett. The tracks “Knuddelmaus” by Ulrich Schnauss and “Para Don Alonso” by Madrid De Los Austrias stand out as well, and “The Sheriff” by Fila Brazilia is also worth a mention.
Latin sound is well represented, but a bit more of an Asian mix would have rounded off the album perfectly.
