Värttinä Returns to London to perform at LIFEM

Celebrated Finnish contemporary folk music group Värttinä will present its lineup at the LIFEM 2013 festival on Wednesday, October 30th at 19:30, Kings Place, Hall One. This will be their only UK show.

Värttinä is celebrating its 30-year career this year and will present new vocalist Karoliina Kantelinen who will join Mari Kaasinen and Susan Aho.

The band has become one of Finland’s greatest global ambassadors, playing at thousands of festivals and venues around the world, building a large fan base, inspiring audiences, other musicians, directors and producers, including AR Rahman with whom they worked on music for the stage version of The Lord of the Rings.
