California Worldfest 2011 to Bring the Best of World Music and American Roots to Grass Valley

California Worldfest is back. The 2011 edition will take place July 14-17 at the Fairgrounds in Grass Valley, north of Sacramento in California. Some of the essential acts this year include Khaira Arby, ukulele sensation Jake Shimabukuro, Puerto Rico’s Plena Libre, Cajun masters Steve Riley and Mamou Playboys, SambaDa, and Delhi 2 Dublin.

The festival program also includes musical workshops, children’s programs, artisans and international food.
