Ganesh Chaturthi is the birth anniversary of Lord Ganesh. Ganesh is the God of wisdom and prosperity and is invoked before the beginning of any auspicious work by the Hindus. He has the head of an elephant. This is a ten day celebration marked by community spirit, fervor, expression of joy and bonhomie. On the tenth day, serpentine processions fill the streets and with the accompaniment of drumbeats and music, the image of Ganesh is immersed in the water. Well in India there is a marked diversity in the details and rituals but unity in the spirit of the celebration.
The venue is the Concert Hall (Shri Subha Siddhi Vinayaka Mandhir). This program is open to all and all are cordially invited.
This event is co-sponsored by Technomedia Solutions Pvt. Ltd.
