How the Terrific “Traffic” Made It

The forecourt of Ohene Djan Sports Stadium, last Saturday was the centre of attraction as fans and people from all walks of life trooped to the place to witness and to have a glimpse of the successors to the Nescafe African Revelation (NAR) ambassadors, Praye.


The competition saw budding and splendid performances by all the 13 contestants making id difficult for fans to point out their
favorites.
The competition presided over by a seven-man judge, finally ruled in favor of “Traffic” as the new ambassadors of NAR Ghana, with NLC and Nsuo placed second and third respectively.


Traffic stole the show when at the third stage they sang a song on the dominant issue in Ghana now “road accidents”, cautioning drivers to respect the traffic light to avoid preventable accidents and lost of lives.


The new ambassadors took away $5,000, a guitar and hampers from Nestle Ghana Limited, presented by their predecessors, Praye.


For also emerging as Winners, Traffic would have their debut album produced and promoted on the market and would have the change to represent Ghana in the Pan African Music competition.


All the 13 contestants went through the 3 rounds of performances each in the competition.


Batman, who was the MC at the function, put his audience in the best mooed with his show and unique style.


The heat was kept ablaze throughout the competition when some of the hottest artists such as Christina Love, Wutah, Ofori Amponsah, VIP and Okomfo Kwadae performed to the satisfaction of the audience.


The rest were Kwabena Kwabena, Kwao Kesse Praye and Batman himself.
