California, who collaborates with musicians from various parts of the world.
Understanding the Spanish lyrics is fundamental to grasp Sánchez’s social
message. Thankfully, his independent release comes with a handsome booklet that
includes the original Spanish lyrics and the translations to English. >Hijos de la Tierra [Children of the Earth] is a poetic
dedication to the people of the Earth: farm workers, immigrants, poverty as well
as a manifest of Sánchez’s experiences. Malian kora master,
