The members of renowned Cuban band Síntesis arrived still with the freshness of the applauses and the echo of the chords after taking place in one of the best percussion festivals from all over the world. We are talking about the XV edition of the Percpan (international percussion festival) that took place in Brazil.
Prestigious musicians and bands within the percussion movement paraded next to the singers directed by Carlos Alfonso around stages in Río de Janeiro and Salvador de Bahía. From the South American giant, there were Marcos Suzano, Alex Meirelles and Wagner Tiso; from the United States the group of musicians and urban dance Stomp; the group Amazones, from Guinea; the Spanish band Faltriqueira; among others. Síntesis, an exponent of Cuban music, a mixture of jazz, rock and the roots of African music closed the last night in the stage of Bahía.
Since its first edition in 1994 Percpan fulfills the aim of irradiating tendencies, genres and exchanges among the most diverse languages. The Cuban representation, with its well earned prestige within the frame of world percussion, was among the greatest attractions according to different digital media that covered the event.
