The Ace Fine Arts (TAFA) has announced a lecture demonstration by Meena Venki of Delhi as part of its Music Appreciation Series. The event, titled Navarasamum Sangeetamum, will take place on July 5, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at the Community Centre, The Ace by Lisland Society, 1 Corporation Road, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The session will be conducted in Tamil. Moreover, the presentation will feature a team of singers who will provide live musical support during the program.
Venki transitioned to full-time work in art and cultural promotion after a 20-year career in corporate human resources. Her work spans multiple fields, including poetry, lyric writing, journalism, radio broadcasting, event management, public speaking, and cultural programming. In addition, she is known for delivering talks on spiritual subjects.
Her contributions to the arts have earned recognition through several honors, including the Kala Niradha Award, the Sasthreeya Sangeetha Sevika Award, and the Excellent Women Award.
According to the organizers, the lecture demonstration will explore the relationship between the nine emotional expressions, or navarasas, and music. The program is open to the public.
