Las Lloronas have unveiled a new music video titled “Little Poets,” directed by Maria Lorente Becerra.
Las Lloronas is a trio based in Brussels that mixes acoustic music with slam poetry. Vocalist, accorionist and ukulele player Sura Solomon (Belgium/USA); vocalist and guitarist Amber in ‘t Veld (Spain/NL); and vocalist and clarinet player Marieke Werner (Germany) all started as street musicians. They bonded over their shared love for sociology, activism, and art.
Their first album, Soaked, with its intimate, multilingual feminist poetry, really struck a chord with thousands of listeners. They recently released their second album, Out of the Blue, in October 2023.
