Lia currently lives in France, where she collaborates with innovative musicians who elegantly intertwine South American rhythms and modern and European classical elements. Her lyrics reflect the reality of someone who had to leave her homeland and her new reality.

The self-titled song ‘Como Una Flor Sin Raíces’ refers to the quest for identity of those who fled their native land.

‘Mareo’ is a revealing sensory journey of the yearning to express and what we hold back.

‘Pachamama’ is a poem to natural elements, calling attention to human madness and its continuing pursuit to destroy our planet.

The musicians on “Como Una Flor Sin Raíces” utilize masterful arrangements, including the distinct sound of the harpsichord and clavichord that emulate a classic Andean charango or a South American harp. Meanwhile, the double bass provides captivating grooves as well as exquisite bowed lines. Lastly, the percussion truly gives a deep South American flavor by incorporating various native instruments and beats.
