The Sonraíz 2026 poster features a colorful illustration filled with Mediterranean plants, an owl, a botijo (clay water jug) abstract landscapes, and musical elements. It announces the festival’s fifth edition, set for Sept. 18–20 in Carcabuey, Córdoba, and prominently displays the lineup, led by La Yegros, Queralt Lahoz, Tära and Hempress Sativa & Paolo Baldini.

Sonraíz Festival Moves Monte Stage Events to Carcabuey Municipal Park Amid Fire Risk

Sonraíz Festival has moved all activities scheduled for its Monte Stage at Monte del Calvario to Carcabuey Municipal Park in Carcabuey, Córdoba, Spain, due to concerns over wildfire risk. The park, which served as the festival’s main venue in previous editions, will host the relocated program.

Organizers announced the change after several small fires were reported recently near the natural area where part of the festival was due to take place. The decision follows an assessment of current conditions, environmental impact, and forest fire prevention measures.

In a summer that has been especially difficult in terms of wildfires, we believe our priority is to act with the highest level of responsibility and prevention,” organizers said. “We want Sonraíz to take place with every safety measure in place while we protect the environment that hosts the festival.

The move allows Sonraíz to maintain its scheduled activities, with each event relocated or adapted to the Municipal Park. Organizers said the change should preserve the festival experience while providing a safer setting. The Park Stage has served as Sonraíz’s main stage since the festival began.

In addition, the camping area will move to the municipal swimming pool, where attendees will have access to a shaded grass area. Lewa’s concert, meanwhile, will take place at the Castle Stage.

Tickets purchased for the Monte Stage will remain valid at the new Park Stage. This includes Monte passes, Sonraíz passes, Saturday passes, and single-day Monte tickets.

Sonraíz thanked its community for its understanding and support and emphasized its commitment to protecting Carcabuey’s natural environment. Organizers said fire prevention takes priority under the current conditions.

The fifth edition of Sonraíz Festival will feature a world music and crossover music program of concerts and DJ sets. Confirmed artists include La Yegros, Queralt Lahoz, Tära, Hempress Sativa & Paolo Baldini, Blanca Paloma, Carmen Xía, Vinila Von Bismark, Cristina Len, Dalila, Jihan, Isla Kume, Las Hijas de la Cumbia, Lewa, Morgana Souljah, Teresa Jiménez and Terrae.
