DJ & music producer Captain Planet has joined forces with Colombian star Kevin Florez to release the song “Borracho Bailando Champeta.” The song celebrates the Caribbean Colombian genre known as Champeta that combines African music with traditional Colombian styles like Cumbia and Bullerengue and also adds Caribbean influences like Reggae and Dancehall.
Florez is better known as The Young King of Champeta. The song was recorded in the two artists’ respective cities, Cartagena and Los Angeles.
