Acoustic presents an intimate side of acclaimed Malian singer Oumou Sangaré. It features live acoustic versions of the songs that appeared in her album Mogoya, released in 2017. Unplugged, without electric instruments and other enhancements, Oumou Sangaré demonstrates her talent as a superb vocalist, one of the finest in Mali.
The lineup includes Oumou Sangaré on lead vocals; musical director Guimba Kouyaté on acoustic guitar; Benogo Diakité on kamele ngoni; Emma Lamadji on backing vocals; Kandy Guira on backing vocals; and Vincent Taurelle on celesta and organ.
