World music festival ¡Globalquerque! has revealed the cancellation of its 2020 festival; the 16th edition will be postponed until 2021.
The second announcement indicates that ¡Globalquerque! will be offering a special, one-time, one-of-a-kind surprise virtual presentation (not just a straight concert). It will be offered in collaboration with other world music and cultural presentations streaming throughout World Music Month in September 2020 by Ashkenaz Festival (Toronto, Canada), BU Global Music Festival (Boston, USA), Cedar Cultural Center (Minneapolis, USA) Chicago World Music Festival (Chicago, USA), Lotus World Music & Arts Festival (Bloomington, USA) Madison World Music Festival (Madison, USA), Small World Music Festival (Toronto, Canada), and the World Music Institute (New York, USA).
