Tendachent

Tendachënt is a Piedmontese band born in the spring of 1997 as an evolution of one of the most emblematic folk groups in Northern Italy, La Ciapa Rusa: twenty years of career, seven albums and concerts in Europe and North America.

Maurizio Martinotti, founder and leader of La Ciapa Rusa, as well as Bruno Raiteri and Devis Longo from the same group, were part of this new project; They are accompanied by three talented young musicians: Sergio Caputo, Enrico Negro and Luciano Ali. Despite the brief life of this group, they have already toured Spain, Portugal, Austria and Switzerland.

Part of the Tendachënt repertoire consisted in a rereading of the most beautiful calasics of the Russian Chiapa, covered with new and more progressive arrangements.
