Cibelle Cavalli Bastos was born January 2, 1978 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. On her debut album, Cibelle, released by Crammed Discs’ label Ziriguiboom, Cibelle also wrote or co-wrote virtually the entire disc, in addition to co-producing the record with her talented countryman, Apollo 9.
Cibelle explores sensual bossa nova, down tempo electronica, samba, jazz, and beyond.
Cibelle has collaborated with a wide range of music and visual artists all over the world for recordings, film, performance, and installations.
