Celebrated South African ensemble Ladysmith Black Mambazo is set to perform on Friday, February 19 at The Town Hall in New York City.
For over half a century, Ladysmith Black Mambazo has toured worldwide with its inspiring vocal harmonies and signature dance moves. The group’s most recent album, Music From Inala: A Zulu Ballet, is currently a Grammy nominee for Best World Music Album.
Over the years, the original Ladysmith Black Mambazo members have welcomed a younger generation in their mission, passing along the tradition of storytelling and spreading their message of peace, love, and harmony to millions of people.
The New York performance will feature a selection of songs from throughout Ladysmith Black Mambazo’s fifty-six year career.
