Bluegrass On The Plains 2015 will take place Monday, May 25 – Sunday, May 31, 2015 in Auburn, Alabama at University Station RV Resort.
The festival features Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder, Rhonda Vincent & the Rage, Gene Watson, The Isaacs, Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver, Volume Five, Claire Lynch, Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out, Blue Highway, Flat Lonesome, Chris Jones & the Night Drivers, Breaking grass, The Boxcars, Sideline, Larry Cordle-Carl Jackson-Jerry Salley with Val Storey, The Punches Family, Brushfire, Cedar Rock, and the Bailey Mountain Cloggers!
Activities include: free workshops for ticket holders taught by the musicians in the bands, bluegrass idol band competition Monday night with free meal, bluegrass scramble on Tuesday night with potluck meal (you bring a dish/festival provides the fried chicken & cornbread), arts and crafts show Friday & Saturday, open stage.
