World Music Star Angelique Kidjo to Perform a Special Concert at The Town Hall in New York City

Angélique Kidjo, one of the most popular artists in the world music scene, will perform a special concert at The Town Hall in in New York City on February 15 as a part of their Black History Month celebration. The Beninese singer has a new album titled Eve

Kidjo’s vibrant style of music combines traditional and pop rhythms from West Africa with zouk, rumba, jazz, and Latin American music, sung in English, French, Fon and Yoruba. Kidjo is also a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador and a determined champion for women’s health and girls’ education in Africa.

Angélique Kidjo will perform at The Town Hall on February 15 at 8pm; tickets are $35, $45 and $55 and can be purchased online at www.ticketmaster.com or by phone at 800-982-2787.
