La Bienal de Flamenco de Sevilla will bring flamenco and early music together at the Church of San Luis de los Franceses, with six exclusive matinée performances set inside one of Seville’s major Baroque landmarks.
Presented in collaboration with the Seville Early Music Festival (FeMÀS), the series brings together flamenco artists with musicians who specialize in early music performance. The program will span three weekends in September.
Pedro el Granaíno will open the series on September 12 and 13 with Pan de oro, alongside harpsichordist Daniel Oyarzábal.
Next, guitarist Alejandro Hurtado will present Devenir de la guitarra on September 19 and 20, with lutenist Enrique Solinís.
Singer Encarna Anillo will close the series on September 26 and 27 with Camino de Flores, accompanied by lutenist Miguel Rincón.
