This video features the celebrated track ‘El Cuarto De Tula,’ taken from Buena Vista Social Club’s 25th Anniversary Editions. Footage of the legendary 1996 Havana recording sessions, captured by Susan Titelman were unearthed as part of the album’s 25th Anniversary celebrations.
The video captures the band performing one of the album’s most famous tracks ‘El Cuarto De Tula,’ notably highlighting celebrated laúd (lute) player Barbarito Torres‘ one-take solo from the album, note for note, in real time.
