La Linea 2025: Celebrating 25 Years of Latin Music Excellence

The London Latin Music Festival, La Linea, will celebrate its 25th anniversary in 2025 with its most expansive and diverse lineup yet. Running from April 22 to May 5, 2025, the festival will present a mix of globally acclaimed Latin icons and rising stars across various venues in the capital.

Headliners include Eliades Ochoa, the Grammy-winning Cuban artist and Buena Vista Social Club member. He returns to the UK to perform at the Barbican on April 22. Ochoa will perform tracks from his new album, Guajiro, alongside classics like “Chan Chan” and “Candela.”

Ed Maverick: The 23-year-old Mexican Latin Grammy winner will debut his new album, La Nube en el Jardín, on May 1 at Union Chapel. This exclusive performance marks his only UK show in 2025.

Rodrigo Cuevas: Known for blending humor, social critique, and Asturian culture, Cuevas will perform La Romería at Islington Assembly Hall on April 23.

The diverse lineup also includes Francisco, el Hombre, a Brazilian rock band that will deliver a farewell performance at the Jazz Café on April 26, combining Afro-Latin rhythms with psychedelic rock influences.

Alex Etchart and Juan Inaki: London-based multi-instrumentalist Etchart and Argentine composer Inaki present Queer Utópico, a fusion of folk and prog-rock electronica, at SOAS on April 30.

Ana Lua Caiano: The Portuguese artist will make her UK debut on May 1 at Hootananny Brixton, joined by Guatemalan-Swiss singer Baby Volcano.

Additional Highlights include Muerdo. The Spanish singer-songwriter with over 150 million streams will perform at Oslo Hackney, featuring songs from his latest release, Sinvergüenza.

Juana Aguirre. The Buenos Aires-based avant-garde artist will take the stage at Moth Club on May 3, blending Latin American folklore with experimental sounds.

La Linea’s 25th anniversary cements its status as a premier festival for Latin music in London, uniting diverse styles and voices to celebrate the genre’s rich heritage and future.
