Italian-born singer and songwriter Guinevere has unveiled her latest single, “Unravel,” an evocative mix of folk-rock, pop, and western classical music. The song serves as a tribute to a close friend who passed away five years ago. Inspired by a vivid dream in which she and her late friend sang together by the sea, Guinevere awoke with fragments of the melody and lyrics, which became the foundation of the track.
“Unravel” features a haunting composition that merges the dream’s melody with classical guitar arpeggios originally composed by her father in his youth.
