Reus de la Frontera, a flamenco collective from Reus in northeastern Spain, brings an electrifying take on the traditional juerga flamenca. Their debut project, Juerga Flamenca, captures the raw emotion and spontaneity of live flamenco gatherings. The group is led by singers Pancho Moreno and Juanjo “De Nayeli,” joined by Juan “El Pillo” (vocals, guitar), Rubén Camacho (vocals, guitar, cajón), Abraham Jiménez (vocals, guitar), and Tin Cortés (vocals, guitar). Together, they mix tradition with contemporary energy, rooted in a shared commitment to the cante jondo.

He has shared the stage with artists like Pastora Galván, El Junco, and José Maya. Beyond live performances, Tin contributed to the albums of Rubén Camacho, most notably on No Soy Como los Demás. His work reflects a balance of tradition and personal expression, consistently honoring flamenco’s roots.

Abraham Jiménez

Born in Reus to a Gitano (Spanish Gypsy) family with roots in Extremadura, Abraham Jiménez has established himself as a standout voice in modern flamenco. Over more than seven years, he has performed at tablaos across Spain, including Corral de la Morería and Tablao El Duende. He has collaborated with leading artists such as Mercedes de Córdoba and José Maya, and contributed vocals to recordings by Diego Guerrero and Tío Parrita. His debut solo recital, Génesis, explored centuries-old flamenco forms, highlighting his deep respect for the genre’s origins.

Juan Cortés “Juanillo”

Juanillo was born in 1997 in Reus and raised in a Gitano household steeped in flamenco tradition. He began singing at age eight and turned professional in his mid-twenties, performing at Barcelona venues such as Los Tarantos and Palau de la Música. His expressive voice and contemporary edge have earned him collaborations with artists including La Tana, El Yiyo, and Chicuelo. With a sound that moves from deep lament to vibrant bulerías, Juanillo channels a raw emotional intensity shaped by both heritage and personal experience.

Juan José Santiago Cortés “De Nayeli”

Born in 1987 in Reus, De Nayeli descends from a Gitano family originally from Granada and Jaén. Influenced early on by his grandfather, El Toronchero, and greats like Camarón de la Isla and Antonio Mairena, his style is marked by depth and traditional power. With over a decade of experience, he has performed at prestigious venues such as Teatro Real and Corral de la Morería. De Nayeli has also worked alongside Farruquito, Gema Moneo, and Paloma Fantova, earning a reputation for passionate, authentic flamenco.

Rubén Camacho Amaya

A multi-instrumentalist and producer from Reus, Rubén Camacho began his musical journey on drums at 13 before teaching himself guitar and piano. Known for his prolific songwriting, he produced his debut album Puzzle using only an iPhone 7. The album, consisting of 20 tracks, reflects a raw, DIY ethos that he dubs “human music with musical errors,” an honest reflection of imperfection. While his style draws from folklore, it resists easy categorization, combining sincerity with experimental flair.

Pancho Moreno

Born in Barcelona and raised in a flamenco-rich neighborhood of Reus, Pancho Moreno has been surrounded by music and dance from a young age. Though his parents were not professionals, their deep connection to flamenco shaped his path.
