Desiré Paredes is an eclectic singer from Madrid who is in love with music, emotional journeys, and the beauty of sounds.
Her entire life has been accompanied by music. From flamenco cantaora Remedios Amaya to Peru’s Susana Baca, the endless references that shape Desiré’s versatility in exploring a wide range of musical genres such as flamenco, world music, and electronic music, among others, are endless.
She currently works as a singer or backing vocalist for numerous Spanish and contemporary dance companies and flamenco, jazz, Latin music bands. Additionally, she is a songwriter and composer on her upcoming EP, breaking the ice with her self-produced debut flamenco rumba single, and music video titled “La Tapa,” a track produced by singer and producer Diego Guerrero.
