Novalima, the pioneering Afro-Peruvian collective, expands their acclaimed La Danza project with a Deluxe Edition (Six Degrees Records, 2025). This release marks over two decades of genre-mixing innovation and their use of irresistible Afro-rooted rhythms from the Pacific Coast of South America.

Originally released as two EPs in 2023, La Danza Parts 1 & 2 now come together with four new tracks: Camino Al Ketoke, Viajo Con La Luna, Alma, and a rhythmic reinterpretation of Bob Marley’s classic Exodus.

Celebrated globally, their festival history spans Roskilde, WOMAD, Montreal Jazz Festival, and Millennium Park in Chicago. Additionally, they earned a Latin Grammy nomination for Best Alternative Album and were featured in Robert Rodriguez’s Machete.
