“Me Dicen Cuba” (they tell me Cuba) is an irresistible video by Cuban salsa and timba stars Alexander Abreu and Havana D’Primera Orchestra. Cuban salsa and timba powerhouse Alexander Abreu and his 16-piece orchestra, Havana D’Primera, will perform at Electric Brixton in London on June 25, 2025. Known for their dynamic blend of traditional Cuban rhythms and contemporary influences, the band has earned a reputation as Cuba’s premier salsa ensemble.
Led by acclaimed trumpeter, vocalist, and composer Alexander Abreu, Havana D’Primera features a roster of top-tier musicians, many of whom have collaborated with Cuban music legend Issac Delgado. Over the past two decades, the group has released multiple best-selling albums and received numerous Lucas and Cuba Disco awards.
The highly anticipated London performance will also feature a special guest appearance by three-time Tropicana World Open Salsa Champion Yanet Fuentes, adding an extra layer of energy to an already electrifying night of Cuban music.
