“Wandress” is Ari Urban’s debut single as a solo artist. Urban is a classically trained violinist who has transcended musical genres through collaborating with musicians, producers, and creators around the globe.
Ari Urban is a Miami native, passionate musician, and Winner of the Knight Foundation New Work 2020 Grant. “Wandress” is an exquisite 3/4 time waltz co-written, produced, and mixed by Chicago based musician and recording engineer Preston Klik. Notably, Ari’s violin is layered three times, supported by a foundation of cello, percussion, udu, guitar, handpan, and vocal choir.
Ari Urban has played on Grammy winning albums and shared the stage with world-renowned artists like Yo-ya Ma, Jacob Collier, Josh Groban, Gloria Estefan, PJ Morton, Bobby McFerrin, Yoshiki, Evanescence, Andrea Bocelli, Father John Misty, George Benson, Kanye West, and Michael Buble .
