In reEncanto, a live album recorded at London’s Union Chapel, Cape Verdean singer Mayra Andrade strips down her discography to its core. Her emotive vocals are accompanied by talented guitarist Djodje Almeida.
Andrade revisits her catalog, offering an intimate, exquisite and acoustic reinterpretation of her work. From Navega (2005) to Manga (2019), this live performance highlights Andrade’s songwriting and vocal artistry, bringing the audience closer to the roots and soul of her music.
