Minnesota-based band Pert Near Sandstone has released their latest single, “All Waves Break,” which is part of their upcoming 8th studio album titled Waiting Days. The new recording is set for independent release on October 20.
The band’s music is characterized by acoustic instrumentation and a mix of folk and bluegrass influences.
The single “All Waves Break” offers a surrealistic perspective that contrasts with the uncertainties of the current world, aiming to provide a sense of rejuvenation. Meanwhile, the album Waiting Days highlights the maturity of the band’s four songwriters: bassist Justin Bruhn; banjo player Kevin Kniebel; guitarist J Lenz; and multi-instrumentalist Nate Sipe. All four are also vocalists.
