Colombian folktronica artist Montoya has released a new single titled ‘Flor del Mar’ (ZZK Records), the second song from his upcoming album “El Nido.” ‘Flor del Mar’ features Nexucan artist Pahua on voicals. The song is a tribute to impossible love affairs that happen during summer vacations, the idea of falling in love with the beauty, the context.
Montoya, who currently resides in Italy, says: “In that tropical context that makes everything taste of salt, everything bathed in sunshine. That memory inspired me for this song, but also as a sensorial aid to get through the winter and dream about returning to that place and reliving that warm sensation.”
El Nido will be released on July 7th, 2023.
