Teres Aoutes String Band - Meuseucca Servadze

Modern String Band Recreations of Western Italian Alps Trad Music

Teres Aoutes String Band – Meuseucca Servadze (Cromo Music, 2022)

Teres Aoutes String Band is a captivating project developed by multi-instrumentalist Mario Poletti (member of the Occitan folk rock group Lou Dalfin) and Fabrizio Carletto (bass player for Massimo Priviero, Eric Andersen, Lou Seriol). The swinging stringed instrument ensemble reinterprets the traditional songs and the dances of the Western Italian Alps in a one of a kind and non-folkloric style.

On this third recording, the Teres Aoutes String Band has incorporated the African rhythms provided by Cameroonian musician Tatè Nsongan (percussionist of the band Mau Mau).

Lineup: Mario Poletti on acoustic and electric mandolin, acoustic and electric mandola, tenor guitar, banjo, vocals; Fabrizio Carletto on electric and acoustic bass, Hammond organ and backing vocals; Diana Imbrea on violin and vocals; Oreste Garello on acoustic and electric guitars and vocals; Tatè Nsongan on percussion and backing vocals; Michela Giordano on vocals; Paolo Costola on electric sitar; and Danilo Dalmasso on spoken word.
