South African a cappella ensemble Ladysmith Black Mambazo is set to perform on Saturday, March 25, 2023 (5:00 & 8:00 PM) at Maurer Hall (Old Town School of Folk Music) in Chicago
Ladysmith Black Mambazo will celebrate six decades of joyous and uplifting music. Within their singing are the intricate rhythms and harmonies of their native South African musical traditions. During their long career, the vocal group has created a musical and spiritual message that has touched a worldwide audience, earning them the title of South Africa’s Cultural Ambassadors to the world.
