The great flamenco singer, Argentina, will perform on December 2, 2022, at 9:00 p.m., at the Cartuja Center Auditorium in Seville. Argentina will present “Idilio”, a song that has gone viral worldwide and that began in Havana.
The seed of this project arose when in May 2019 when she recorded a homemade video of the song ‘Idilio’ at the restaurant “La Vitrola” in Havana, improvising with Cuban act Grupo Evolución, the house band, whom she had just met.
Back in Spain, Argentina uploaded to her social networks and in a short time it went viral around the world with millions of views, encouraging Argentina to record it in a studio.
Argentina will be accompanied at the Cartuja Center in Seville by the group Son de Cuba & Compañía, and by her usual flamenco musicians, José Quevedo “Bolita” and Jesús Guerrero on guitars; Torombo and Los Mellis on backing vocals, palmas and jaleos; and José Carrasco on percussion.
On February 21, 2020, Argentina released the single “Idilio”. Then, in 2021, she released the single “Que alguien me dice” on April 9. This year, 2022, she rolled out the third single of this project, “La Candela de Lola”. These three songs plus additional material will appear in a future album that will focus on a combination of flamenco and Hispanic American music.

Argentina will continue the 2022 tour on December 23 at the Cervantes Theater in Malaga with her Christmas show “Su primera Navidad” and also on December 28 with the same show in Seville at the Iglesia de los Terceros church.
