All Flamenco Channel Celebrates 5th Anniversary

Coinciding with Flamenco Day, UNESCO’s declaration of flamenco as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, the All Flamenco TV channel will celebrate its fifth anniversary on November 16.

Five years ago, All Flamenco opened in the Orange network as a 4K television channel aimed at the large community of fans who enjoy flamenco music as an art and lifestyle. Since then, All Flamenco has been increasing its distribution through more than 100 telecom operators in Spain and abroad in the form of a linear TV channel, its 9 different apps that allow viewers to enjoy its wide range of content through any device (smart-TVs, tablet, mobile and other connected devices) and its own channel on Prime Video, reaching an estimated audience of more than 5 million viewers worldwide.

Throughout these five years, All Flamenco has been offering a wide range of programming, mostly exclusive, becoming the largest catalog of audiovisual content in the world of flamenco with hundreds of recordings of performances of top artists made with the highest production standards throughout Spain and surrounding countries such as France. In addition to music shows, All Flamenco’s programming also includes documentaries, films, short films, reports, and flamenco fashion catwalks.

All Flamenco has received multiple awards for the quality of its programming and the enormous effort it makes to disseminate nationally and internationally one of the most emblematic cultural expressions of Spain, such as the April 8 Media Award granted this 2022 year by the Institute of Gypsy Culture under the Ministry of Culture and Sports.

To celebrate, All Flamenco is offering a special content slate during the month of November and will organize a series of special activities, including raffles for gift sets and travel prizes to visit the birthplace of the great Camarón de la Isla in San Fernando, Cadiz, and a totally free flamenco event in the heart of Madrid, Puerta del Sol.

During this week All Flamenco’s programming will include shows by Carmen Linares, Antonio Canales, Rancapino, Jesús Méndez, Pedro El Granaíno, María Terremoto, Javier Latorre and Antonio El Pipa.

On November 16th, All Flamenco will exclusively premiere the show held at the Teatro Cervantes in Malaga just a few weeks ago, “Honores a la Cañeta”, a tribute to one of the greatest living flamenco artists, La Cañeta de Malaga. “Honores a la Cañeta” is a unique, vibrant show, full of passion and joy, in which acclaimed artists such as Israel Fernández, Pepe Habichuela and El Cancanilla, among others, carried out a public recognition of the seven decades of La Cañeta’s artistic career.

On Friday, November 18th at 6pm All Flamenco will organize a totally free flamenco event, open to anyone, at the Orange store in Puerta del Sol in Madrid. The event will consist of a flamenco show by Paula Sierra, renowned dancer from the land of Camarón.
