Talvin Singh to Perform in Liverpool this November

Performing arts organization Milap will bring present award-winning artist Talvin Singh at the Tung Auditorium in Liverpool, UK, on Friday 18th November 2022.

Talvin Singh is a leading musician of Britain’s Asian musical Underground, renowned for creating a bridge between Indian and electronic music. Notably, Singh has worked and collaborated with seminal artists as Massive Attack, Madonna, Sun Ra, Yoko Ono and Bjork. His debut album won the 1999 Mercury Music prize (leading British music award) and his legacy and influence have seen him awarded an OBE in 2014.

This headline show will mark the finale of Milap’s Autumn Season of shows for 2022, combining British and Indian culture through the sensational sounds and sights of Indian music and dance, and welcoming both acclaimed performers and the most exciting new talent.

Milap first brought Talvin Singh to Liverpool in 1993 for a show at The Bluecoat Arts Centre.
